To register for the class, please call (703) 430-3333. Space is limited and payment is required at the time you register to secure a spot in the class. First price listed is for customers who bought the camera from Ace Photo, second price is for people who did not buy their camera from Ace Photo.
Registration is not complete until payment is processed
No workshop, seminar, or class refunds are given unless we are notified at least two weeks prior to the start of the workshop, seminar or class. No refunds will be given after this date. There is a nonrefundable administration fee, which is included in the tuition. With an eligible refund, you will receive the full refund less the 25% administration fee.
Our Instructors
Eliot Cohen
Eliot Cohen was the Program Head for Photography at Northern Virginia Community College (Loudoun Campus) for 21 years. He received NVCC's highest award for his teaching excellence. Eliot was also a member of the adjunct faculty at the Corcoran School for Art. His clients have included the National Park Service, USDA, Fannie Mae, the Smithsonian and PBS (as well as many others). As a teacher he is patient and diligent in helping his students learn the fundamentals of Photoshop, Adobe Lightroom and Printing. More of Eliot's work can be seen at his website: www.eliotcohen.com
Corey Hilz
Corey Hilz regularly teaches workshops and travels in North America and Ireland as he instructs students in photography. He is a highly qualified Nikon instructor and a first class teacher. Ace Photo will be offering specific Nikon camera classes which might include some outdoor time (weather permitting) so that students will get some one on one time with Corey. Each class will focus on all the functions and controls of your camera. We will look at menu options and how to personalize your camera and get the best results under various circumstances. Please bring your manual and a camera with a fully charged battery and a formatted/clean memory card..

Josh Taylor
A popular teacher in Maryland, Virginia and Washington D.C., Josh Taylor is very qualified when it comes to photography. He regularly teaches for the Corcoran School of Art and Design as well as the Smithsonian Institute and United States Botanic Gardens. A Canon shooter, Josh will give regular classes on the various Canon DSLRs. Most classes will run for four hours and include some outdoor time (weather permitting). Menu options and understanding the various settings will be covered in each class, please bring your camera's manual and a camera with a fully charged battery as well as a formatted/clean memory card. Josh has some images being published in "Currents" magazine that were taken with his Canon G7 digital camera.

Tom Ramsay
Tom is a cinematographer, and motion picture/television director with more than 30 national and international film awards including the Gold Hugo Award (Chicago International Film Festival), the Cine Golden Eagle Award, and finalist for Academy Award Nomination for Best Documentary. His films have been seen worldwide in theaters, on cable channels, and on ABC, BBC, CBS, and PBS television networks. Tom studied cinematography at Brooks Institute of Photography and with Vilmos Szigmond (member of the American Society of Cinematographers and Academy Award winner for Best Cinematography in Close Encounters of the Third Kind).
